Crystal Clear Cole

11 March, 2010 by James Lawther Leave a Comment

Cheryl Cole is a master of communication.  She is alleged to have ended her marriage to football player Ashley Cole by text.

The text message read “Move out.  It’s over.”

I recently found an article about e-mail etiquette.

Its top 4 tips were:

1.  Be concise and to the point.
2.  Answer all questions and pre-empt further questions.
3.  Use proper spelling grammar and punctuation.
4.  Make it personal.

The fifth tip was “Use templates for frequently used responses”.

I don’t suppose that one was appropriate in this case.

James Lawther is a middle-aged, middle manager.

To reach this highly elevated position he has worked in numerous industries, from supermarket retailing to tax collecting.  He has had several operational roles, including running the night shift in a frozen pea packing factory and carrying out operational research for a credit card company.

As you can see from his C.V. he has either a wealth of experience or is incapable of holding down a job.  If the latter is true this post isn’t worth a minute of your attention.

Unfortunately, the only way to find out is to read it and decide for yourself.
