Happy in His Work

The San Francisco World Spirits Competition has awarded Chase Vodka the accolade of “Best Vodka in the World” beating 249 other brands.

Chase Vodka is made in Hereford by the same man who bought us Tyrrells Crisps, the entrepreneur William Chase.  He claims the key to success is the potatoes.  “If you start cheap, you’re always cheap“.

Can you make tonic from potatoes?  Probably not, I don’t suppose Mr Chase would get any work done if he could.

To reach this highly elevated position he has worked in numerous industries, from supermarket retailing to tax collecting.  He has had several operational roles, including running the night shift in a frozen pea packing factory and carrying out operational research for a credit card company.

As you can see from his C.V. he has either a wealth of experience or is incapable of holding down a job.  If the latter is true this post isn’t worth a minute of your attention.
